Our Petite Loft Double rooms have their own bathroom with shower, wardrobe, television and spectacular lake and mountain view.
Rooms are situated in the 3rd floor in the old villa building. Rooms were carefully renovated in 2017.
Please note that the rooms have split beds (2x75 cm bed) and cannot be re-arranged. Please contact reception if you have a preferred bed type arrangement. We will do our best to fulfill your preferation

We have a lobby designed for comfort, hanging out and meeting all sorts of people and culures, topped off with our jewel - The Gold-Bar. With a stunning view over the Sandvin lake, waterfalls, the mighty Opo river and mountains, you won't find any better place to hang out with friends. Here you can order all kinds of local drinks like the world famous Hardanger apple Sider which has been cultivated and perfected for more than a millenia! We are open every day.
Requests for early check-in and late check-out are honored but subject to availability. Allowable free-of-charge early check-in is from 12 PM. Applicable charges will be billed for exceeding hours.
Late check in after 23.00 please let us know. Late check in can be agreed by contacting reception at mail@trolltungahotel.no minimum 24 hours before arrival.
Check out later than 12.00 PM will be billed 50 % of the rate of room.
The hotel has launder services. Contact the reception and they will help out.
Yes, we do offer luggage storage free of charge. The hotel reserves to right to deny storage of oversized and suspicious items.
If joining a Trolltunga tour and in need of lunch, You can buy a 'lunch ticket' at check in. Then you can make a lunch from the breakfast buffet.
You can park your car free of charge at the hotel’s private parking, and at the public parking by the Sandvin Lake.
Unfortunately, our hotel does not have rental of hiking clothes & equipment. Our partner company Trolltunga Active has rental of wind jackets/pants, hiking boots, backpacks and equipment.
In 2021 we built a new restaurant, with an outdoor terrasse. From the terrasse you can enjoy a meal or a lunch, while enjoining the stunning view over the Sandvin lake, waterfalls, the mighty Opo river and mountains
Yes, you can use our free Wi-Fi everywhere in the hotel. Contact the reception for the password.
