The attractions of the Hardanger region are simply impressive during the winter season, and perfect for alpine ski touring. This tour is for beginners or intermediates who wish to build up skills in order to go ski touring on their own in the future. Our well qualified guides will take you on a memorable tour in a scenic winter landscape. Highlighting it with introducing you to a basic sets of tools that you can utilize to make good decisions when you are on the mountains in winter, f.ex avalanche risk.

9am: Meet up
Meetup place will be agreed on in advance according to the participants wishes and conditions in the mountains
The tours will be mainly in the mountains close to Røldal Skisenter, Reinsnos and Haukeliseter
Previous experience with skiing necessary

FAQ

What time can I check-in and check-out?

Standard check-in time is at 15.00-22.00 and check-out at 11.00 PM.

Do you allow early/late check in and late check-out?

Requests for early check-in and late check-out are honored but subject to availability. Allowable free-of-charge early check-in is from 12 PM. Applicable charges will be billed for exceeding hours.

Late check in after 23.00 please let us know. Late check in can be agreed by contacting reception at mail@trolltungahotel.no minimum 24 hours before arrival.

Check out later than 12.00 PM will be billed 50 % of the rate of room.

Gear drying service

In Norway weather is guaranteed, loads of weather. You might experience rain, snow or sun, even in summer. Pack for everything. We will help you dry up wet shoes, back packs or outdoor gear in our gear drying room.
